May 2011: Jawadi is 11 years old and wants to be a lawyer when he grows up. He loves to play soccer, and like some of the other older boys at the school, he needs to be dragged inside from a soccer match, even in the pouring rain! He is of the Buganda ethnic group and lives with his dad, mom, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. He is the eldest child. This month Jawadi was able to take part in 2 field trips. He went via bus to Jinja, where he took a boat ride on the Nile River, and then went to Wonder World, an amusement park where he could go on rides and swim in the pool. During this month he was also given medication for de-worming.
